My birthday

So yesterday was my birthday. ![]()
I have updated my reel. Check it out.
I am now officially a college graduate. My graduation was this past Saturday and a bunch of my family members came down to Georgia to see me walk across that stage to receive a folder with a piece of paper in it. Now, I have to find a job.
So I got the “click to play” to work. Be sure to check out my updated reel at: http://www.paulskim.com/demoreel.html
So I left Monty last night/morning at 6am. It was weird leaving the building when it was daylight out. Anyway, I pretty much wasted 3 hours trying to figure out how to get the “click to play” function working on my demo reel. I still haven’t figured it out, but I’m close. Stay tuned for updates as to when it gets uploaded.
So today, I decided to run to and around Forsyth Park. Normally, I run on the treadmill, but I figured I would run around Forsyth at least once before graduation. Well, it was a lot more tiring than I had planned on it being, which makes sense. When I run on the treadmill, I’m technically running in place. However, when I’m running outside, I have to exude force in order to go forward. So that uses up more kinetic energy.

KE = Kinetic Energy
m = mass
v = velocity
My mass will be undisclosed at this time. And I don’t know how fast I was going.
So how much work did I do? Well, W = F * D.
W = Work
F = Force
D = Displacement
Since I don’t have the variables for the amount of force exuded, I don’t know. Also, I didn’t keep a constant pace throughout the entire workout. In addition, I don’t know the exact distance I ran. It was at least a mile. But again, no exact number is known.
Conclusion: I worked more today than I normally do running on the treadmill. But, that doesn’t include the work I do when I lift weights, which I didn’t do today.
I wish that there was a third-party software available that I could use to update this, so that I wouldn’t have to log on every time I wanted to update. Does that make sense? Like a separate program that enables me to post to this. Also, there is a “post by email” feature that enables you to send an email to a private address, which in turn gets posted as an entry. I can’t seem to figure out how to get it to work. Anybody?
Well, I finally got around to installing WordPress. I knew my host supported it, but I never got around to setting it up. I’m still trying to figure out how to customize the look of it, so bear with me.
